We are MATCH Foundation, a Sports for Development Organization. Our goal is to be the perfect MATCH for children to empower them with the tools they need to pursue a successful, sustainable, and prosperous future.
What is the MATCH Plan?
EDUCATION
For any good student you will know, that the better you prepare for a test, the more likely is your chance to get good grades. We believe that quality education is the most valuable investment one can do for children. The foundation provides free education to primary school students but also supports other outstanding students on scholarships. We also believe that knowledge is not only acquired in classroom, that's why we also invest time on teaching the youth various skills and life lessons.
TENNIS
Tennis is a reflection of life in a very realistic way. Players are constantly facing challenges, while receiving positive and negative feedback throughout the match. They need to adapt to changing situations and endure, concentrate and focus one point at a time. As Andre Agassi once said: "It's no accident, I think, that tennis uses the language of life. Advantage, service, fault, break, love, the basic elements of tennis are those of everyday existence, because every match is a life in miniature." This is why we include life lessons in our tennis program.
